Bishop Lee F. Jenkins, Jr. is a native and registered voter of Savannah, Georgia. He is the son of the late Dea. Lee F. Jenkins, Sr. and Mrs. Sarah Jenkins.

He is a 1974 graduate of Sol C. Johnson High School and furthered his education at Savannah State University and later became employed at Georgia Ports Authority. He joined and was baptized at Woods Monumental Baptist Church, now Agape Church of Jesus Christ, at an early age. In 1986, Bishop Jenkins gave his life to the Lord and was filled with the Holy Spirit. He served in different capacities of the church, including President of the Deacon Board, Missionary worker, member of the Adult Choir, Adult Sunday School teacher. His most successful accomplishment was the organizing the Brown Bag outreach Ministry.

Bishop Jenkins was blessed with one son, D’Andre Bryant. In the midst of his many blessings, God blessed him with his soul mate, Minister Carlethia Jenkins. They have been faithfully married for over 35 years. Because of Bishop Jenkins’ hunger and thirst to reach lost souls, the Lord called him to Pastor at Second St. Luke Baptist for 7 years. In 1996, Bishop Jenkins attended Covington Theological Seminary School in Savannah, Georgia. Throughout the years, Bishop Jenkins has constantly demonstrated being faithful and committed to serve God, and as a result, he became the Pastor and Founder of Fresh Fire from Heaven Christian Church, INC. which was established in September 2001 with 32 dedicated members.

God saw fit to elevated Bishop Jenkins because of his dedication, faithfulness and commitment and he was consecrated as Bishop in January 2013. Wanting to serve his church and community on a full time basis, Bishop Jenkins retired from Georgia Ports Authority after 30 year in 2015.

On August 16, 2018, Bishop Jenkins received the appointment of Area Bishop of Georgia with Global United Fellowship. Bishop Matthew M. Odum said he saw in Bishop Jenkins, ‘servitude to reach the masses and integrity’.
